Application process

Applying for Launchpad One Day School.

The application process starts with an expression of interest. There are two assessments throughout the year; a mid-year assessment and a end-of-year assessment (for the following school year).

You will be notified of specific application deadlines once you have registered your interest.

Note, families of children attending Launchpad One Day School pay an annual fee of $200.00 ($50.00 per term) to cover resources. Additional funding is graciously provided by Launchpad.

Almost anyone can apply on behalf of a gifted child.

We typically receive expressions of interest from a child’s teacher, school principal, parent, or caregiver.

How to apply.

If you know a child who would thrive at Launchpad One Day School, you can kick things off with an expression of interest.

  1. Register your interest
     Fill out our     online form to get started.

  2. Chat with our lead teacher
    Get in touch with our lead teacher anytime, should you have any questions throughout the process.

  3. Group assessment
    Your child will join a small group of children for an activity-based assessment (approximately 2 - 3 hours), where our teachers observe and get to know how they learn.

  4. Review & discussion
    Our teaching team meets to review the assessment and determine the best fit for your child. 

  5. Placement offer
    Families will hear back shortly after the assessment. If a place is available and One Day School is the right fit, we’ll confirm details and find a day that works - remember, it’s just one day a week!
